Job Description

What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet!
  • 3-5 years of manual labour in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Supervisory Skills as an asset
  • Experience in a construction/fabrication environment is a strong asset
  • Minimum Grade 12 High School Diploma
  • Ability to working with their hands on a day-to-day basis
  • Holds a valid GDL Class 5 drivers licenseamp; clean drivers abstract
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Millwright, HVAC and/or mechanical knowledge as an asset.
What you will be doing:
  • Complete daily building, equipment and facility inspections to ensure all are running smoothly and take necessary actions to mitigate any issues.
  • Review system, determine problems, conduct physical inspections and coordinate contractors to complete repairs.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and oversee contractors for any preventative and emergency facility maintenance work.
  • Support corporate internal initiatives and handling set-up for events.
  • Maintain inventory for office, shop, yard and inventory supplies ensuring sufficient stock.
  • Process, schedule, and/or complete any maintenance requests within the office.
  • Professionally answer incoming phone calls and promptly assist contractors, employees, and vendors with inquiries.
  • Work with General Manager and Construction Manager for scheduling maintenance.
  • Delegate tasks for Maintenance Assistant.
