Job DescriptionNight Guest Agent (Part-time)To provide our Guests with professional, and superior guest service while maintaining and maximizing the highest occupancy levels and room rates.To aid in the daily operation of the front office in a safe and healthy manner and to participate in efficient pre-arrival, arrival and departure tasks. To assist in resolving guest concerns. Work and communicate with other colleagues in the Front Office and throughout the Hotel.Applicant must be self directed, enthusiastic and courteous.

  • Completing night audit and overnight duties
  • Arrival and departure duties include the friendly and efficient registration and checkout of guests while adhering to hotel policies and ensuring guest satisfaction. This involves a warm welcome, seamless check-in, and a smooth departure process, including expressing appreciation and encouraging return visits.
  • To adhere to core standards of Fairmont brand as they pertain to the Fairmont Palliser and the front office.
  • Contribute to achieving the loyalty of our guests by exceeding their expectations and providing warm personal service
  • Handle guest complaints and comments in a professional manner and provide the follow up required to co-workers and leaders.
  • Ensure rate and sell levels are maintained as it relates to seasons, contracted rates, packages and promotions.
  • Pre-arrival duties including blocking rooms with respect to special requests, loyalty program (ALL) members, and large room types.
  • Handle room keys for in house guests, ensuring that the Company’s security procedures.
  • Count and balance your audit and cash float at the end of each shift.
  • Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and colleagues by maintaining knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures; as well as Fire Panel/Evacuation procedures.
  • Participate in efficient pre-arrival, arrival, departure and overall experience for all guests
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, ergonomically friendly, effective recycling, healthy and safe work environment.
