The Performance/Automation Quality Engineer will conduct performance tests and write automated tests. This role requires a solid understanding of test automation frameworks, performance benchmarking, API testing, third-party integrations, and distributed systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of our applications through both manual and automated testing strategies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites for a system built based on microservices-based architectures. The candidate should be proficient in designing automated tests that address the complexities of distributed environments—such as network latency, fault tolerance, and eventual consistency. Experience with variety of testing tools and frameworks is essential, as is the ability to embed automated testing within modern CI/CD workflows to support rapid and reliable delivery.
