Job Description

We are currently seeking applicants for a Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Assistant position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.Key Responsibilities:Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and other Pharmacy Team Members, you will be responsible for:

  • Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
  • Data entry of patient care information
  • Third Party adjudication where required and necessary
  • Accurate dispensing prescription medications
  • Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
  • General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
  • Handling customer prescription pick up
  • Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
  • Preparing compliance packaging
Experience, Skillsamp; Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy setting
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Strong motivation to succeed
  • Proficient computer/data/entry skills
  • Experience with Pharmaclik Rx is an asset
Compensationamp; Benefits:
  • $20.00 $30.00 per hour
  • Employee discount (able to purchase items at the store #39;s cost)
