The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipe fitting, decommissioning of facilities, and operating a knuckle picker truck. This role is critical for leading a team in the field and ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently in compliance with industry standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a crew in the decommissioning and pipe fitting activities for oil and gas facilities.
  • Operate and drive a 550-class truck with a knuckle picker, ensuring safe handling of equipment and materials.
  • Perform pipe fitting duties, including installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems.
  • Oversee the proper disassembly and removal of piping during facility decommissioning.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and management to execute project timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to pipe fitting or equipment operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure that all work adheres to industry standards and client specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in pipe fitting, with experience in oil and gas facilities.
  • Truck Operation: Proven experience driving a 550-class truck and operating a knuckle picker.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of decommissioning processes for oil and gas facilities.
  • Valid driver #39;s license with a clean driving record.
  • Safety certifications such as H2S Alive, First Aid, and WHMIS are preferred.
  • Must be able to work remotely and in physically demanding conditions.
Schedule:
  • 10 days on, 4 days off rotational schedule.
  • Travel to and from the remote worksite is required.
Compensation:
