Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Project Manager role is a hands-on position requiring excellent project management, technical, organizational and communication skills. This position is responsible for the planning, management, and execution of Customer Support upgrades and modernization projects for the Logistic/airport segments as well as New Sales projects within the Products segment within North America, Mexico, and Central America. The Project Manager will support both Customer Support and Products business segments. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execution of modernization projects from contract signed to handover to customer.
  • Managing several (10-20 projects) at the same time – ranging from $ 50,000 to $ 2,000,000.
  • Organizing the projects through the Stage Gate model with planning, specifications, design, production, installation/commissioning planning and agreements to execute within the agreed timeframe.
  • Continuous communication with customers, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure flow and commitment throughout the project.
  • Being proactive and address opportunities and risks continuously
  • Responsible for the overall project delivery, quality/capacity wise, technically, timeframe and financially.
  • Develop and update project schedule.
  • Create financial reporting and control the project budget.
  • Technical support to site during installation, commissioning, and final testing.
  • Compiling report, track project tasks, update monthly status reports.
  • Coordination and preparation for meetings.
  • Follow up on action points and expedite critical activities.
  • Keep project documents updated and communicate changes to project team.
  • Ensure project health, safety and environmental standards meet or exceed legislated requirements and company policy.
  • Efficiently close out projects incl. making sure all customer documentation is created and stored.
  • PM Support for CS and Products segments- approx. 50/50.
