Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources team, based out of our Calgary, Alberta downtown office. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for executing the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding. Join us in this full time permanent role and be a champion of diversity and inclusion.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full recruitment process, including job postings, assessment of candidate qualifications and value alignment, coordinating interviews, offer extensions and onboarding;
  • Develop and implement search strategies utilizing various channels including job boards, social media and networking;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing and attraction strategies, recommending improvements;
  • Maintain relationships with post-secondary institutions and lead campus recruitment initiatives ~10% travel;
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs;
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment processes including utilization of phone screen, interview, reference check, and related templates;
  • Provide coaching and training to hiring leaders on recruitment processes and requirements;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand workforce needs and requirements, as well as with the HR team on a day to day basis;
  • Focus on continuous improvement of internal processes and candidate experience;
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters) and utilize LinkedIn Recruiter;
  • Keep accurate and organized candidate records, tracking progress and outcomes;
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment;
  • Other related duties as assigned.
