Our focus on cybersecurity allows the organizations we partner with to maintain their focus on growing their business, We Protect the Brands You Know.®Position OverviewReporting to the VPamp; Country Manager, the Senior Account Manager, (SAM), will be responsible for delivering sales results against corporately defined targets. The SAM will be responsible for a defined list of identified prospects across their territory. The SAM will sell across all three iON solution pillars: Technology, Services and Employment and be expected to meet or exceed minimum sales targets in all three areas. To facilitate the execution against target, the SAM will be expected to create and maintain client relationships across functional, operational and executive contacts. The SAM will work closely with internal iON stakeholders specific to a wide array of security recommendations specific to each customer. The iON sales environment is fast paced and high-touch with an always-on approach to client satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of both revenue and margin targets across Technology and Services within defined account list
  • Creation and execution of territory and individual account plans
  • Maintain a very high frequency of client contact, funnel management and activity management reporting
  • Accuracy in sales forecasting – by week, month and quarter
  • Maintain Salesforce accounthygiene and accuracy of account and opportunity details
  • Leveraging company templates and brand standards to create and deliver customer proposals and solution presentation material
  • Quarterback and participate in the iON response to RFx opportunities
  • Regularly engage with iON’s technology partners and strategic alliances along with seeking out and identifying new strategic partners based on client input and direction
  • Maintain minimum levels of sales/technical certifications offered by technology partners
  • Cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective customers through event attendance
  • Professionally represent the brand of ION across the client, partner and internal communities we serve in accordance with the core values of the business
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary diploma or degree is considered an asset
  • 10+ years of account management experience
  • 5 years senior account management experience
  • 3+ years of network/cyber security sales experience
  • Ability to identify a broad range of major account/enterprise contacts across Ontario
  • Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com
  • Comfortable participating in virtual and in-person meetings
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn
  • Intermediate to advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Limited to moderate provincial and national travel may be required in the execution of this role
  • Attention to detail, professional communication skills, exemplary written and presentation skills are a must
