With our head office in Calgary, and regional offices in Greater Edmonton, Red Deer and Lethbridge, we have central and southern Alberta covered.We offer work with meaning, incredible opportunities for development, work life balance and opportunities to contribute to your community.Join our team!Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Business Applications, the Senior Systems Analyst will provide technical expertise in the support of ProjectWise and Bentley’s MicroStation tools. This role will provide customers with assistance in optimizing and supporting the modern workplace and help to deliver transformative solutions. Responsibilities:

  • In a leadership capacity, guide and direct consultants in diagnosing and resolving complex problems in both cloud and on-premises technologies.
  • Simulating or recreating user problems to resolve complex technical functionality.
  • Configuration and integration of ProjectWise or MicroStation with other technologies and platforms.
  • Managing the installation, security, maintenance, and support of ProjectWise or MicroStation.
  • Providing technical expertise in studying vendor products and presenting recommendations to management.
  • Provide architectural recommendations to projects in the use of ProjectWise or MicroStation.
  • Stay current on the latest trends, including new releases and patches, in the Bentley stack of applications and systems.
  • Provide input and recommendations for training as well as development needs of business users.
  • Conduct regular audits of the ProjectWise environment to ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline with five to seven years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability/experience in above noted responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining ProjectWise servers, databases, and clients including ProjectWise365, MicorStation, and other cloud tools.
  • Proven experience with Bentley Systems software suite including MicroStation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation tasks is preferred.
  • Proficient in security principles and permission management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to motivate and persuade others.
  • Demonstrated project management experience such as planning, execution, compliance and risk mitigation and sustainment.
  • Proven and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive outcomes.
  • Proven ability/experience in document management principles and workflows.
  • Experience in the Utilities Industry is considered a benefit.
  • Proven track record of good attendance and job performance.
