Job Description

Responsibilities:As a part-time Showroom Assistant within the residential construction industry, the central duties for this position will be as follows:

  • Maintain the visual appeal and practical functionality of our showroom.
  • Assist our valued customers in a friendly and professional manner, first with a greeting and potentially guiding them through our product range in the absence of design staff.
  • Taking pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom is a key part of this role.
  • Manage the sample inventory and fulfill minor warranty inquiries for parts in stock. There is a warehouse component which will require receiving of small orders and providing access for larger deliveries with the assistance of a receiver. - - The ability to lift 25 lbs. packages is necessary.
  • Also in the warehouse the candidate will support with inventory management of small parts, all while assisting with or handling customer inquiries with excellent problem-solving skills and professionalism.
Qualifications:
  • While prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, what’s most important is your positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • A polished appearance is required to interface with our clientele in this well regarded showroom atmosphere.
  • High school diploma or higher is required, and a background in retail, or client facing situations or design and construction is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
