Job ID : 2670Closing Date : 01/19/2024 Location : NOVA Head Office, Manufacturing East Region, Pittsburgh Corporate Admin, Red Deer Executive Place This position provides the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays each week, with the requirement to report to the primary NOVA Chemicals work location on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Employees can opt out of the hybrid schedule and will be expected to work Monday-Friday from the primary work location. Are you looking for a role where you can leverage your depth and breadth of experience to drive a supply chain transformation journey We are seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Logistics Digitalization Specialist to join our Centre of Excellence team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and driving advancements in talent, process and system capabilities to enable achievement of department strategic objectives. This role will support the Supply Chain Logistics function. This position can be located at our location in Calgary, Alberta; Red Deer, Alberta; Sarnia, Ontario; or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You Will Use Your Expertise To: Define the Supply Chain digital strategy and vision, in collaboration with IT, Digital Factory, and Logistics teams. Work with Supply Chain leadership to define and prioritize the supply chain process and technology roadmap. Lead critical implementation efforts in partnership with Supply Chain and Corporate Enablement functions. Partner with support functions to identify, prioritize, select and implement new cutting-edge technology as well as scale and enhance existing solutions. Build and implement change management plans. Deliver training on new processes and systems. Build governing policies and procedures to support a collective standard practice and the Supply Chain vision. Define the future needs for the Planning and Supply Chain department skills development. Engage with the analytics team to build, monitor and course correct on performance-based measures. Work with Supply Chain Logistics leaders and the Analytics team to evolve to an insight driven department. What We Are Looking For: University graduate with 10+ years related experience and continued professional development OR 14+ years combination of post-secondary education and related experience with continued professional development. Experience supporting implementation and integration of supply chain applications. Additional supply chain education, training and/or certification through APICS, ASCM, Supply Chain Canada and/or related professional organizations would be an asset. Ability to listen, empathize and communicate with supply chain users who seek better access to good-quality data in order to make better decisions. Experience implementing new TMS or ERP systems, including developing and or leading project and change management plans. Ability to cultivate broad knowledge and relationships across various parts of the organization (i.e. commercial, sales, marketing, planning, finance and manufacturing). Deep knowledge of supply chain processes such as supply chain design, contract negotiations, and data analytics tied to costing and optimization of supply chains.
