Job Description

Job Title: AV Technician - Meeting Room Technology Support Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite) Duration/Term: Long Term ContractJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled AV Technician with expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and upgrading Meeting Room Technology, including Crestron equipment, BIAMP systems, Microsoft Teams Room Systems, and basic networking. The ideal candidate will provide VIP support, concierge-level service, and ensure seamless functionality of audio processors, cameras, microphones, and related software.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide VIP-level support for meeting room technology setups.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Crestron, BIAMP, Microsoft Teams Room Systems, and Windows 10/11.
  • Perform room checks to verify equipment functionality before meetings.
  • Deliver concierge-level service, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, multitasking in dynamic environments.
  • Manage and configure networking elements for AV setups.
  • Collaborate remotely with technicians for real-time AV troubleshooting.
  • Install and upgrade meeting room equipment, ensuring high performance.
  • Maintain and support audio processors, cameras, microphones, and related software.
  • Develop technical documentation and best practices for troubleshooting procedures.
Required Skillsamp; Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience working with Crestron equipment and configurations.
  • 2+ years of experience with Biamp DSPs.
  • 4+ years of hands-on AV installation experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong expertise in Windows 10/11, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft Teams Room Systems.
  • Exceptional communication and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
