Job Description

  • Hours: Project dependent. Overtime required.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on various schedules.
  • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
  • Health benefits and vacation pay offered.
  • Must be able to operate a tractor disc in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be able to understand how to prepare the soil to dry for compaction.
  • Must be familiar with aspects of road construction and compaction of soil.
  • Willing to help ground personnel when required.
  • Preform pre and post trip inspections on the unit.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
  • Must have 2 seasons as a Tractor Disc Operator.
  • Understand the issues involving ground disturbance.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020), WHMIS 2015, and ground disturbance 201 are required.
  • Must comply with the company #39;s drug and alcohol policy, including testing requirements.
  • Valid class 5 driver #39;s license with clean drivers abstract valid within 30 days of employment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Safety Oriented.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.
