Our commitment to building lasting customer relationships is anchored in delivering reliable products and outstanding service.Job Summary:The Inside Sales Team Lead will play a pivotal role in guiding the inside sales and applications teams, ensuring they achieve sales goals, deliver exceptional customer support, and provide accurate quotations. This role includes supporting team members in their daily tasks, coordinating efforts to optimize team performance, and fostering strong customer relationships. The Team Lead will help to implement strategies, streamline processes, and work cross-functionally to achieve sales and service objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Guidance:Act as a point of support for the inside sales and applications teams, ensuring alignment with company sales goals and providing assistance with daily activities and complex inquiries.
  • Sales Strategy Support:Work closely with management to execute sales strategies, focusing on reaching quotas and expanding the customer base.
  • Customer Engagement:Participate in customer meetings, assist with pricing and delivery information, and ensure timely responses to inquiries, reinforcing customer relationships.
  • Project Coordination:Collaborate with the projects team on custom and large-scale orders, helping to verify quotation accuracy and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing:Lead training sessions and facilitate ongoing learning opportunities to ensure the team has the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Customer Relationship Building:Foster strong, long-term relationships with key customers, actively engaging to promote retention and business growth.
  • Quotation Support:Review and ensure accuracy of quotes, aligning them with customer needs and company standards in pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Contract and Pricing Assistance:Support discussions around contract renewals, price negotiations, and volume discount considerations.
  • Performance Coordination:Work with the team to monitor and manage daily activities, aligning tasks with broader sales goals and deadlines.
  • Customer Needs Analysis:Help assess customer requirements and communicate the features and benefits of the company’s products to meet customer needs.Resolve their problems or complaints.
  • Process Optimization:Identify and recommend improvements to processes within the inside sales team to boost efficiency in order processing and customer service.
  • Reasoning:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field and/or minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field within the motors, controls, or industrial products industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electric motors, controls, and related products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and sales management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
