This position offers an opportunity to mentor and shape the next generation of nursing professionals through engaging and comprehensive instruction.This role offers 28-35 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future instructional opportunities, advancing your career in education.Rate Range: $34.60-46.50/hourKey Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in theory, lab, and clinical settings.
• Execute lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements as per PTIRU compliance. - Extensive in-house curriculum orientation and training provided.
• Provide hands-on training and supervision in clinical environments.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
• Stay current with best practices and developments in nursing education.

Qualifications:

• Current Full registration with the BCCNM - required.
• Minimum 3,900 hours of nursing experience, including acute care.
• Previous instructor experience is an asset.
• Experience with Office 365 and Student Information Systems (SIS) is an asset.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Commitment to fostering a positive educational experience.
