Duties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the F amp;B Manager - the Foodamp; Beverage Host/Porter is an integral part to a successful service in any restaurant. You are responsible for the beginning and end of every dining experience at Silvertip Resort. Other duties include answering phones, taking, and seating reservations and assisting servers during service as required.
  • Seat guests in an organized fashion to maintain service flows for the Servers.
  • Take incoming dining reservations.
  • Run food to tables.
  • Obtain dining information from guests, such as dietary restrictions or special occasions and be a specialist in the delivery and knowledge of our products.
  • Answer any questions that guest may have about or menus, operations, and golf course.
  • Work with both the FOH and BOH team to create the best possible experience for our guests.
  • Assist servers and bartenders during service such as clearing/setting tables, running food, and greeting guests.
  • Be a proactive and positive member of the Silvertip Resort team. Offer help to fellow teammate whenever possible.
  • Perform daily operational tasks and maintain daily and weekly cleaning duties.
  • Complete inventories and various other tasks as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Highly personable and excellent communication skills.
  • Detail and goal oriented.
  • Highly efficient and organized.
  • Excellent with guests.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
  • Be able to work 20-30hrs per week.
