The incumbent will also perform secretarial duties, provide information, and schedule appointments for patients in the Pre and Postnatal Clinics, Chronic Conditions, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Social work and Nurse Practitioner. Assigned duties aim to ensure the provision of quality care.REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma / GED plus an administrative support program of over one year and up to two years which includes medical terminology courses;
  • Minimum of one year of related experience;
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook programs;
  • Ability to type accurately at average speed;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with patients, visitors, and members of the care team;
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophyand organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
