Job Description

Location: 530 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, CanadaCore hours: Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm PSTWe value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Remote under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position will work primarily from a home office with occasional in-person attendance.Contract Details

  • 6-month position
  • Work will vary between 2-4 days per week, depending on the project #39;s scope and stage.
Role SummaryAs the Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing tools and resources to support the delivery of Salesforce eCommerce platform implementation. This includes creating engaging and effective training and education support materials for use in instructor-led and self-directed learning for all audiences across Eminence #39;s Team Members, Spa Partners, International and Online Distributors, and Retail Customers. You will drive training design and retention in collaboration with many cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout Eminence. As the Curriculum Developer, you will report to the Learning and Development Manager.Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality, effective training tools to directly support learning needs and objectives for multiple audiences including Eminence Team Members, Spa Partners and Retail Customers
  • Use instructional design best practices to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances learner participation, engagement, retention, and transfer of desired learning objectives
  • Develop and maintain training materials including facilitation guides, presentations, instructional videos, and job aids to support progressive learning and consistency across touchpoints
  • Ensure all training materials comply with established design standards
  • Partner with the Learning and Development Manager to map and document the resources design process, including steps required for scoping, creation, launch and maintenance of training materials
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and implement methods of evaluating learner performance against outlined learning objectives
  • Use evaluation and feedback to proactively seek opportunities to continually improve existing training materials
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Adult Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years combined experience in designing and delivering training solutions using a variety of instructional modalities across multiple platforms (videos, instructor-led sessions, job aids, and others)
  • 3+ years of facilitating and conducting in-person learning required
  • Online course development and/or delivery experience required
  • SharePoint and Teams platform experience required as well as demonstrated strong working proficiency in instructional design software tools, such as Articulate 360 and video editing platforms
  • Creating learning content for system implementation project is required
  • Strong knowledge base in adult learning theory, lesson and curriculum planning
  • Salesforce Experience, especially with Commerce Cloud and the Platform would be a strong asset
  • Ability to simplify and translate complex concepts and processes into easily understood and recalled content
  • Exceptional instructional design skills plus ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • PowerPoint and presentation design skills, plus a high level of creativity with exceptional visual design skills and the ability to storyboard, as well as proficiency in one or more webinar hosting tools.
