If you are interested in building global challenger brands, scaling a business, and working in a values-driven environment, we want to hear from you!The OpportunityReporting to the VP, Total Rewardsamp; Technology, the Director, HRIS will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and management of our Human Capital Management platform (Workday). This role will lead a team of HRIS professionals, who collectively ensure the effective utilization of our HCM platform to support data management, business efficiency, and contributing to overall achievement our organizational objectives.ResponsibilitiesHRIS Strategy and Governance:

  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine a comprehensive HRIS strategy that aligns with the organization #39;s HR and business goals, emphasizing data governance principles.
  • Establish and manage effective governance processes for HRIS, including defining data ownership, access controls, audit trails, and compliance monitoring.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard HRIS data, ensuring data security, confidentiality, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Regularly review and update HRIS policies and procedures to adapt to changing legal requirements and best practices while emphasizing data governance and policy adherence.
Team Development, Growth, and Collaboration:
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, team development, and growth within the HRIS team, providing mentorship and coaching to team members.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure that HRIS initiatives align with organizational goals.
  • Encourage innovation and creative problem-solving among team members, empowering them to contribute to HRIS improvements and data governance efforts.
HRIS System Management:
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS software, ensuring it meets the organization #39;s evolving needs and data governance standards.
  • Manage upgrades and enhancements to the HRIS system, assessing their impact on data security, compliance, and governance.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of HRIS with other systems and platforms while maintaining governance protocols.
  • Implement data controls for maintaining quality, consistency, and accuracy within the HRIS.
Data Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of HR data within the HRIS, strictly adhering to relevant privacy and security regulations.
  • Define and implement access controls, specifying user roles and permissions based on data governance principles
  • Establish and maintain detailed audit trails to monitor changes to sensitive HR data and ensure governance over HRIS activities.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks and assessments to ensure security regulations are met, maintaining controls for compliance monitoring.
Process Improvement and Automation:
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within HR functions to streamline operations and improve organizational efficiencies
  • Lead initiatives to standardize and simplify HR processes through technology, with a focus on automated processes.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Lead the development of HR-related reports and analytics, providing data-driven insights for talent management, workforce planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance in reporting to support business goals.
Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation, with a strong focus on data governance terms and security requirements.
  • Ensure vendors comply with agreed-upon service levels and data governance standards, and safeguard organizational data.
HCM Training and Development:
  • Develop and oversee training programs for HR staff on the effective use of our HCM system
  • Establish and maintain training program for Operational end-users to ensure effective and efficient utilization of our HCM system
  • Promote and monitor adherence to data governance controls in HRIS usage, tracking training effectiveness and data governance compliance.
  • Foster a culture of data privacy and security awareness within the organization, with data governance as a foundational element.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field. A master #39;s degree is often preferred.
  • Proven experience in HRIS management, with a strong background in HR processes and technology.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS software and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, particularly related to HR data.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align HRIS initiatives with the overall organizational strategy.
