In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.about this teamThe core mandate of the Product Analyticsamp; Data Science team is to solve global product business problems and support the management of business performance using data science, including statistical, machine learning and analytics techniques.The team is critical in enabling lululemon #39;s global product functions (Merchandising, Planning, Design, Development, Colour Concept), through the design and development of reporting and analytics solutions that support getting the right product to the right stores at the right time.a day in the life: what you #39;ll do

  • Owns strategic vision and roadmap to centralize global functional reporting and analytics
  • Business owner for data architecture/warehousing and design across systems and product reporting suites
  • Develops end-to-end data science models to be leveraged in Product systems landscape
  • Build and lead a team of data scientists and analysts to own the reporting and analytics portfolio for the Product team
  • Own and define the key performance indicators (KPIs) and diagnostics to measure performance against Product business goals
  • Design and build comprehensive product reporting suite for management, leadership, and cross-functional visibility and decision-making
  • Support functional teams in managing product business performance by identifying key trends and opportunities using data science
  • Compile, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources to answer business questions
  • Partner with our Technology teams on monitoring ongoing data quality and model performance
  • Coordinate and manage competing priorities across a portfolio of data and analytics projects
  • Establish, mentor and foster a Center of Excellence#39;COE #39; community for data science, reporting and analytics
qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing reporting, analytics, or data science portfolio and team
  • Highly proficient in mining largeamp; complex data sets using Python, R, SQL; and utilizing statistical, machine learning and analytics techniques
  • Proven experience creating executive-level data visualization reports in Power BI and other applications
  • Strong business, leadership, and planning skills and demonstrated executive-level presence
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to manage change, develop, mentor and coach personnel, including experience with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus
  • Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets
  • Ability to effectively manage a large, dispersed team and prioritize work
  • Master #39;s Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years #39; experience in a similar field with a minimum of 5 years in a management role
  • Experience in the Retail and/or the Apparel/Footwear industries preferred

The typical hiring range for this position is from $173,400-$227,500  annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
