Job Description

We value shipping quality code that delivers end-to-end functionality and then iterating and improving using feedback loops from our observability stack.Foodee is looking for Full Stack Software Developers. Our marketplace is evolving and our customers are demanding more product capabilities and more flexibility with the current feature set. As a member of the Technology team, you will have the chance to work on our current products including our marketplace, vendor management, recommendation engine, vendor scheduling and real-time order tracking.Our current stack is Ember/Javascript and SCSS/LESS and Rails but if you have worked with other frameworks that #39;s totally fine! We also use some React Native that occasionally needs some love. On the database side we are mainly on PostgreSQL while also utilizing Redis and Sidekiq. The development team is poised for growth and along with that comes many opportunities to learn different skills both technical and non.YOUR DAY-to-DAY

  • Create features using modern JavaScript frameworks like Ember on the frontend or Rails on the backend
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices and tooling from the various communities
  • Openly collaborate with your team to solve problems and learn from failures
ALL ABOUT YOU
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • 2+ Years of experience developing production web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like Express, React and Angular
  • Exposure to a backend language (we use Rails, but NodeJS, Java, .NET, Go, etc. is also great to have)
  • Some exposure to SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Some experience with unit, integration, and feature testing as part of a SDLC
  • Experience working on teams in an agile-scrum environment
