This is no small task-which is why we #39;re looking for passionate people to join our team and help propel our work forward to power the possible.What you #39;ll doAs the IT Support Analyst, you will report to Associate Director, Information Technology and will be responsible for providing technical support for the systems under BCCHF #39;s IT administration to users and partners, as well as providing technical support for events hosted by BCCHF.More specifically you will be responsible for:

  • Providing T1 technical support for Foundation staff on the following areas:
  • Hardware Support (Desktop computers, laptops, desktop phones, mobile phones)
  • Printer Support (Multi-function and personal desktop)
  • Software application support (MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Power Point; Adobe Creative Suite: Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere, Dreamweaver, Lightroom; The Raiser #39;s Edge)
  • Cloud Application Support (Microsoft 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Remote application support (VPN and Remote Desktop)
  • Website Support (troubleshooting and escalating reported website issues)
  • Providing on and off-site technical support for BCCHF hosted events, including determining technology needs for events, setting up and taking down of technology and troubleshooting issues during events
  • Investigation, diagnosis and resolution of end user calls to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Assisting with the deployment of equipment as needed
  • Assists the System Administrator with system administration and monitoring
  • Limited web support for BCCHF #39;s IT applications, including basic edits and updates
What you bringWe understand that no single candidate will perfectly meet all the qualifications outlined for this job posting. The following highlights the qualifications we consider important for a candidate to bring to the position or to develop while in the role:
  • Currently pursuing or have recently graduated from a Computer Science program (or related field); complemented by 1 to 2 years of experience working in an office environment, preferably in an area related to information technology or technical support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the drive to provide exceptional internal customer service to staff and managers.
  • Proactive and solutions oriented with the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced multi-site office environment
  • Excellent communication - written and verbal
  • The ability to work within a team environment but also to work autonomously
  • Be able to work in a project basis, coordinating with other departments
  • Knowledge of maintaining Exchange Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Power Point)
  • Familiarity with system threats and best practices for security
  • Knowledge of maintaining Windows Servers
  • Experience integrating Windows and Apple platforms
  • Knowledge of Raiser #39;s Edge would be an asset
