We specialize in small to mid-sized projects for clients across Canada. The types of clients we work for include:

• Heavy Industrial Facilities
• Pipelines and Refineries
• Mineral Processing
• Municipalamp; Utilities
• Water treatment

We are currently searching for Mechanical EITs to join our team in Vancouver, BC. EITs will work closely with a group of engineering professionals and will gain valuable hands-on engineering experience in a challenging and versatile engineering consulting working environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interfaces with project team members to complete assigned tasks
• Undertakes calculations, analysis and simulations from basic or first principles following established design practices as directed by senior engineers
• Prepares basic design and/or engineering reports when requested
• Assists in the management of drawing and document lists, distribution matrices, squad check coordination and records management
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards
• Prepares and manages material take-offs and requisition packages

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Some experience or knowledge in Oil and Gas, Mining, or Municipal sectors is preferred
• Sound judgement and initiative
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others team members and engineering disciplines

SOFTWARE AND SYSTEMS:

• Experience using 3D AutoCad or equivalent considered an asset
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor #39;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered as an EIT

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Hybrid Working Arrangements
• Travel within Western Canada periodically to client sites may be required
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screen
• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
