O2E Brands is looking for a People Business Partner (Maternity Leave 15 month Contract) to join our growing team! As part of the People department, you will provide our leaders strategic HR guidance, and support initiatives and programs that foster an exceptional team member experienceWhen we say It #39;s All About People we mean it. For this role #39;s duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of time.- Utilize knowledge of HR legal issues to best support the business, ensuring compliance with employment law- Support the development, recommendation and implementation of policies and procedures- Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of policies and relevant labour laws- Partner with leaders to facilitate operational and people policies, processes, programs, and tools related to; hiring, onboarding, development, performance management, engagement, and employee relations- Support with HR capabilities related to performance management, recognition, talent management, succession and employee relations- Work in close collaboration with L amp;D, People Operations and Talent Acquisition to implement and improve processes and programs- Advise on all employee relations matters in a timely manner- Advise on compensation structures- Collaborates with People dept. functions to design and deliver appropriate solutions that help leaders provide an employee experience that attracts, retains and engages people- Educational background in Human Resource Management- 3 plus years #39; experience in a HRBP role- Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation- Passion for connecting with people- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail- A servant leadership style demonstrated through strong team engagement- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systemsDid you know O2E Brands has been voted one of the Best Workplaces in Canada 12 times!Take a sneak peek into why that is, here: (https://youtu.be/DJA02gMNU-0)Check us out on social!At O2E Brands we know that great talent comes in many forms and we want to meet you at your best.
