Job Description

And this is where you come in…As a Producer you #39;ll collaborate with a wide variety of disciplines in a fast-paced environment to brainstorm characters, work with Marvel on approvals, prioritize and manage the character production schedule, and ultimately deliver fan-favorite champions that surprise and delight our players every month.Sounds like a match Answer the call and apply to join our Marvel: Contest of Champions team!In this role, you can expect to:

  • Run character roadmapping, brainstorms, tech assessments, and art reviews
  • Work with Marvel on approvals and respond to licensor feedback
  • Attend champion play-tests
  • Work with your Development Director partner to balance scope, prioritize bugs/tasks, and proactively mitigate risks
  • Deliver champions on time, on scope, and at quality, on a monthly release cadence
  • Help identify and action on live game issues
  • Coordinate with other teams on various tech asks and dependencies, and drive initiatives to completion
  • Escalate and resolve issues, maintain documentation, provide status updates
  • Address other ad-hoc issues as they arise
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
  • Post-Secondary degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of production experience on video game products
  • 2+ years of production experience with a variety of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)
  • 2+ years of production experience managing features or content from concept to release
  • Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills
To take it up a notch, you will also have:
  • Deep knowledge of the Marvel universe
  • Familiarity with Marvel: Contest of Champions
  • Experience with JIRA, Google Suite, Unity
  • Experience working with designers, artists, and managing creatives
  • Experience working on a live mobile game
  • Experience working on a licensed game title
