Job Description

WildBrain Studios is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join the team on our animated feature film!In this role, you will support the Feature Producers and Production Manager in overseeing the production process, tracking schedules, and collaborating with other members of the production crew to keep this show running at full steam! While this role requires oversight of production process and systems it is also very hands on, you will be involved in activities like tracking notes and system maintenance, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in big picture and at the more granular level.We are looking for someone who is incredibly organized and calm under pressure, passionate about the details, highly communicative and excited about joining a talented team of industry professionals working to create some of the best quality kids #39; content in the business!Responsibilitiesamp; QualificationsWhat you #39;ll do:

  • Collaborate with Feature Producers, Production Manager and coordinators to create detailed schedules, execute production tasks, and ensure the project remains on track
  • Help manage and organize production processes--
  • Maintain calendars/schedules
  • Track artist progress
  • Track art assets
  • Flag any issues to the Feature Producers and Production Manager
  • Execute front-end tasks as needed - including but not limited to:
  • Take and distribute meeting notes
  • Coordinate and support recording sessions
  • Track script drafts, dialogue changes, and page revisions
  • Help track story, editorial, script notes-ensuring that priority art, story, and recording needs are addressed
  • Work with Feature Production Manager and Producers to track production milestones
  • Help track crew vacations/outs and timecard submissions
  • Be a point-of-contact in our production hub who will liaise with executive offices, facility operations, multiple internal departments, external artists, clients, and vendor studios
  • Communicate with IT and Studio Operations regarding tech troubleshooting and production requirements for team members
  • Keep yourquot;finger on the pulse quot; of the production
  • Work on other projects and tasks as required
What you #39;ll Bring:
  • You have 1 or more years #39; experience as a Production Supervisor or Senior Coordinator on an animated feature and/or 1 or more years #39; experience as a Production Manager on a television series
  • You have 4 or more years #39; experience coordinating production for animated features and/or television series
  • You #39;re a team player who possess a strong ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize, take initiative, and follow-up.
  • Great time-management skills and ability to pivot if/when production needs shift.
  • You can demonstrate effective and professional communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of best practices regarding securely handling unreleased artwork and confidential materials.
  • Knowledge in Shotgun
  • You love cartoons as much as we do!
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge/Experience of the animated feature film pipeline.
  • Experience with remote working.
  • Experience coordinating in Story, Editorial, and Art departments as well as Script Breakdowns, Voice Recording, and Artist support.
  • Understanding of how to help build and contribute to show culture and helping to oversee and support a talented and diverse crew
  • Drive, determination and creative problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, video teleconferencing and remote-working applications like SyncSketch, also Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel and Sharepoint
Pay Range: $1320 to $1725 per week.Candidates are paid within the range posted, but their exact pay will vary based on the level, responsibilities and expectations of the role.
