Job Description

Location: 530 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, Canada Core hours: Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm PSTWe value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 1-2 days per week.Role SummaryAs the QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of our software adheres to company standards through the usage of testing technologies and processes. You will be working in an exciting environment as we deploy Salesforce eCommerce solution across the organization to serve a Global customer base. You will be working in collaboration with various teams to implement software applications that enable eCommerce, order management, warehouse fulfillment, work order management, data transformations, and integrations to our ERP. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Core Applications Development Manager.Responsibilities

  • Develop full coverage test cases based on Requirements/Acceptance criteria documented in Agile User Stories
  • Execute user-based functional and technical test cases to ensure Production-ready functionality while identifying deficiencies for our eCommerce website and internal systems
  • Create well-written, detailed JIRA bug reports to be raised with Internal and 3rd Party Development teams
  • Participate in bug triage calls with technical teams to prioritize and resolve identified issues
  • Retest fixed bugs to confirm issues identified have been fully resolved, and confirm no negative impact to other functional areas
  • Review test cases and clearly document test results with various business Team Members for signoff purposes
  • Participate in estimating test effort when required
  • Participate in test planning for upcoming test phases (SIT, UAT, etc.)
  • Coach/mentor Team Members on testing processes and standards, including guidance on writing test cases
  • Continually help develop best practices and standards to determine product quality and release readiness
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing fields
  • 3+ years of experience with testing web-based, e-commerce applications (Retailamp; B2B).
  • Salesforce platform testing experience is preferred
  • A degree in a technology related program or similar is preferred
  • Strong experience with manual software QA processes, methodologies and techniques
  • Experience with writingamp; executing test plans, test cases/scripts and reporting on test progress
  • Experience with writing bug reports and strong understanding of the overall defect management process
  • Experience working in an Agile, Sprint based development environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, time management, and attention to detail skills
