We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to spearhead our efforts in the Microsoft Teams Calling, Meeting and Devices team which tackles the toughest challenges in the collaboration and productivity space with customer centric focus in close collaboration with multiple partner teams on technologies across the company and beyond.We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about their technical skills and has a solid track record of problem solving and shipping products/features, and who has a great sense of customer empathy. This candidate should feel comfortable about creating software that runs on devices or on a Desktop and have experience developing with TypeScript, either React or AngularJS, and REST APIs. • Bachelor #39;s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience designing, coding, problem solving and debugging in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or JavaScript.
• OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production grade applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Data Structures and Algorithms.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, and ability to be adaptable and agile in development.
• Demonstrated experience with systems programming.
• Demonstrated passion for building great end-user experiences
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and a willingness to learn new ones.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Demonstrated experience with debugging in Windows environments and applications.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year. • Develop software features for Microsoft Teams devices.
• Work closely with Program Managers and designers on End-to-end features design.
• Collaborate with feature area owners, architects, and Engineering Managers across many different areasamp; services.
• Provide product/Feature quality and reliability monitor and live site support.
