Job Description

Job DescriptionWe #39;re looking for a hard-working, eager to learn individual to join our team!Under the supervision of the Production supervisor, the Assistant Operator is responsible to operate the equipment efficiently to meet productivity and product quality performance objectives, demonstrate a positive attitude and open-mindedness in order to optimize teamwork. This individual must have industrial mechanic competencies and be able to learn how to adjust, troubleshoot, repair and operate machinery in the facility. The Assistant Operator will have the opportunity to learn how to operate multiple machinery : Demolding, packaging, processing and more.Tasks:

  • Operate all the consoles and make the required adjustments to the various components of the equipment;
  • Ensure the production of products according to the production schedule;
  • Use different tools and/or equipment. Responsible for the tools made available to him;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and perform preventive maintenance. Find solutions to production problems;
  • Coordinate the execution of tasks within his team (8 people);
  • Provide staff training;
  • Ensure that each procedure is respected (quality, health and safety, etc.);
  • Ensure that manufactured products meet quality standards;
  • Identify issues and improve quality standards;
  • Actively participate in production meetings and share relevant information;
  • Ensure the cleaning of premises and equipment in order to keep the work environment clean and safe;
  • Participate in the development of OHS correction and prevention solutions;
  • Complete the various reports;
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize the manufacturing process, work in continuous improvement mode to eliminate problems at the source.
