Job Description

We are looking for someone who has experience producing exceptional baked goods in a fast-paced kitchen. The successful candidate will have at least three years baking and managing experience.

  • Crafting and preparing new baked goods everyday such as scones, muffins, cookies, croissants, specialty pastries
  • Ensuring every product meets the expectations of the customer and reflects well on the standards of the establishment
  • Ensuring the workstation is restocked and cleaned as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Train staff and manage the cafe
  • Inspecting each baked product to ensure it meets quality requirements
  • Making product improvement recommendations, responding to the needs of the customers, and accepting orders
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Chester, NS B0J 1J0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • Baking: 3 years (preferred)
