Tanner & Co. Brewing is searching for a passionate, beer-loving professional to assist the company as we continue to grow.We’re looking for an energetic, hardworking individual with a passion for beer and a strong interest in marketing and branding. This person must love to talk about beer, entertain people and help to promote our brand. This is a multitasked role that may transition into a full-time sales role as the brewery’s output increases. This person will be responsible for licensee sales in the province, as well as occasional retail sales at the taproom.Duties Include: · Introduce and maintain relationships with bars and restaurants via in-person, email, and phone.· visit wholesale partners carrying our beer to build relationships & conduct quality control· Liaise with brewery staff on a regular basis to plan for sales needs· Retail sales & service in at the taproom and brewery to cover days off or busy times· Develop and facilitate special events onsite or with restaurants & bars to promote our products· Occasionally working local farmers market(s) and special tasting events· Speak with passion to the public about Tanner & Co. products and vision· Track & report activities, goals and market feedback· Respond to general business e-mail inquiries and forward pertinent information accordingly· Track mileage, expenses & samples, etcSkills & Qualifications: · Must be 19 yrs or older· Ability to lift 70lbs· Able to work different shift times, from early morning starts to the occasional late evening event· Previous customer service, merchandising, hospitality industry and/or sales experience is an asset· Beer sales experience preferred but not necessary· Sufficient transportation with a valid drivers license· A self-starter with a great work ethic and a willingness to grow· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals company-wide· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.· Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, comfortability with various software and databases.· Ability to effectively communicate with team members in a respectful and timely fashion.· A general understanding of brewing process and beer styles· A love for NS Craft BeerEducation: High School or equivalent (there will be some math involved)Part-time hours: 15-20 per weekJob Types: Part-time, PermanentAdditional pay:
