Tanner & Co. Brewing, Chesters destination brewery, is searching for passionate beer-loving individuals to help our guests have a memorable beer experience.We’re looking for hardworking folks that love to talk about beer, entertain people, and of course sell stuff. Don’t worry if you have no previous experience in a brewery setting; if you’re passionate and willing to learn, we’re willing to teach you.The position is flexible and can be part-time or full-time, working primarily Wednesday through Sunday.Duties & Responsibilities: Greeting and interacting with guests and other team members in a friendly and fun wayWalking our guests through our different beer styles, providing information, and answering questionsFilling growlers, selling bottles & cansCollecting cash through our POS systemBussing and resetting tables in the taproomCompleting all paperwork involved in day-to-day operations (inventory, cash reports, etc.)Occasionally working the local farmers market(s) and special tasting eventsAssisting with some cellar duties (primarily cleaning)Working the bottling line and packaging beerGeneral cleaning dutiesSkills & Qualifications: Excellent People Skills! Must be 19 yrs or olderKeen attention to detail and accuracy in workAbility to perform efficient, quality work with minimal supervisionAbility to answer visitor’s questions and provide general tourist information about the local areaStrong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly to innovation and changeAbility to work different shift times, from early morning starts to the occasional late evening eventsAbility to work both independently as well as part of a teamDress per requirements, looking neat, clean, and professional at all timesAbility to lift kegs (60lbs) and stand for several hoursEducation: High School or equivalent (there will be some math involved)Restaurant, bar, or retail experience preferred, but not requiredJob Type: Part-time to full-timeSalary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour plus gratuities earnedJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, SeasonalSalary: $14.00-$15.00 per hourAdditional pay:
