Heavy Equipment Operator (FT) - Jobs in Chetwynd, BC

Looking for a reliable, hardworking Heavy Equipment Operator to join the team at this thriving and reputable gravel company.Job Duties:

Operate heavy equipment used in earth moving operations including, but not limited to, excavator, dozer, loader, grader, articulated rock truck, roller compactor, water truck, and other equipment to support a variety of operations at job locations.
Excavate and load rock and other materials into trucks for transport to appropriate locations.
Monitor equipment and processes, ensuring equipment deficiencies and operational issues are reported clearly.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required including fueling, greasing, and parts lubrication.
Conduct troubleshooting activities when problems arise.
Complete Operator Checklists and Daily Log Books.

Position Requirements:

Experience in operating an Excavator, Dozer, Loader and Articulated Rock Truck is required.
Experience operating a Grader will be considered an asset.
Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.
Mining, Oil, and Gas or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Level 1 First Aid, H2S, PST or CST, and Ground Disturbance.
Clean drug and alcohol test less than 30 days.
Wage intensive for those who hold a Level 1 First Aid with Transportation Endorsement
