Shift work will be required.The RoleEnsure safety standards are met by following Canfor safe work and lockout proceduresMaintain high standards of cleanliness in your work area and throughout the millTrain and develop skills in various areas of the mill siteDevelop strong working relationships with your peers and production teamThe CandidateExperience Operating Log LoaderAbility to work in a safe and efficient mannerAvailable to work shiftworkCompletion of Grade 10 AND/OR a minimum of 2 years industrial work experience AND/OR equivalent training (eg. OFA3, grading ticket, trade, etc.)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to analyze and troubleshootPositive attitude and a self-starterAble to work in an environment that may include exposure to weather, dust, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, machinery, and noise.Preference may be given to those individuals with a Level 3 First Aid ticket AND/OR knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process.At Canfor, diversity means understanding, recognizing and valuing the differences that make each person unique.
