Job Description

THE ROLE: Technical Support Analyst (Internship / New Grad)We are looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join our team and help us to ensure that all our clients are supported and their buildings are adapted to work successfully with the Parity platform. Leveraging your background in Engineering and interest in HVAC/Automation Systems, you will partner with our Operations teams to ensure that daily enquiries for service and/or technical support are addressed and that all buildings in our portfolio are optimized throughout their time with us. Specifically, ensuring service tickets assigned to you are resolved and closed within specified timelines and building equipment alerting programs are working optimally. This is a high potential role, working closely with leaders from Operations teams, specifically Engineering and Customer Success. We are looking for someone hungry, eager to learn, and passionate about the energy and Cleantech space!RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will monitor and address customer enquiries using our ticketing system on a daily basis working with the service and customer success colleagues to ensure they are addressed quickly and accurately
  • You will monitor Parity #39;s building controls system to ensure optimal energy usage and building processes
  • You will work closely with other engineers on the team proactively assess the state of operation of client buildings as part of Parity’s ongoing commissioning process
  • You will work with our Energy Reporting team to understand how to benchmark and report on a multi residential building performance. This will include learning IPMVP reporting methodologies, data modeling and building energy modeling
  • You will have the opportunity to help optimize and improve current processes, as well as play a major role in building out our Operationsamp; Engineering team
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • You have an academic background in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical (or related degrees) with an interest in energy, HVAC, automation or mechanical/electrical engineering - 4th year co-op / interns and new grads are encouraged to apply
  • You are an excellent communicator (oral and written) as demonstrated through part-time employment, extracurricular activities and/or academic performance
  • You are eager to grow, learn and tackle new opportunities in a fast-growing startup environment
  • You are a quick learner, and only need to be shown something once before doing it yourself, and then going back to improve the process
  • You constantly seek efficiency and optimization of processes and procedures; you look for gaps and work to fill them
  • Please note: this is not an IT Support role
