Job Description

DISHWASHERThe Company:At J. D. Irving, Limited (JDI) has operations in Eastern Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador), and the United States. We are a team of 15,000 dedicated employees.The Woodlands Division is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Deersdale and Chipman teams as a Dishwasher.Responsibilities:

  • Collect and properly sanitize all dishes, cutlery, and glasses
  • Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly before and after use
  • Manning Food POS station to ensure meal plan cards are scanned before food is served
  • Assemble food for patrons
  • Prepare takeout packages
  • Clean kitchen floors, storage areas, and take out the trash
  • Keep cupboards and storage area clean and organized
  • Assist with receiving food supply order
  • Stock shelves and coolers
  • Participate in daily kitchen and food prep
  • Disassembly, cleaning, set up and maintenance of work areas
  • Responsible for maintaining the kitchen and dining room area with a high level of sanitation
  • Remove trash from the dining and kitchen areas
Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for long hours
  • Ability to carry a minimum of 50lbs
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Maintaining a Food Handler’s permit is considered an asset
