Energy Team LeaderSlave Lake, AlbertaOur Energy Team Leaders are critical to the success of our company. They keep our energy teams engaged, organized and efficient and support our operations teams in keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently. If you are a leader at heart and want to be part of something BIG, you may have just found your perfect fit.We #39;re looking for an Energy Team Leader to join our Athabasca Oriented-Strand Board (OSB) division, located in Slave Lake. This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative forest products for customers around the world.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • 2nd Class Power Engineer ticket, 3rd Class with experience would be considered.
  • Working knowledge of automated or computerized control systems and thermal oil systems.
  • Experience leading and getting results through your team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.

  • Maintain overall accountability for the mill #39;s energy systems including furnaces, thermal oil, steam, air compression, fire protection and pollution control systems.
  • Use your knowledge of Alberta #39;s Boilers and Safety Act to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Use your exceptional leadership skills to engage your team and inspire high performance.
