SupremeX Packaging3259 Jules BrillantLaval, QC, H7P 6C9Tel: 450-973-8282Fax: 450-973-9011hr@supremex.caThe incumbent will be responsible for ensuring operational needs related to logistics and shipping.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily logistics monitoring (order/delivery status).
  • Ensure the movement and storage of raw materials and finished products.
  • Use the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for inventory and raw materials.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of data entries in the ERP system related to logistics and transport.
  • Organize all activities and establish daily and weekly planning for stock movements to respond effectively and efficiently to the needs of the organization.
  • Ensure the supply of raw materials and follow up with the purchasing department.
  • Carry out international shipments.
  • Analyze inventory in conjunction with production needs to ensure that the required raw materials are available.
  • Apply practices and procedures related to logistics and transportation to achieve business objectives.
  • Select the carrier and follow up to ensure delivery and pick-up dates are met.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring of performance indicators in conjunction with the department.
  • Carry out storage using a forklift.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • All other related tasks.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of logistics and/or shipping in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience and training
  • Great ease of working in a team and ability to organize your work according to the objectives to be achieved
  • Ability to lift loads of 30 lbs and more
  • Be in good physical shape
  • Have a forklift license
  • Possess a class 3 truck driving license (an asset)
  • Fluency in oral and written French and good command of English
  • Great ease with computerized work tools
  • Must have excellent organizational skills for a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Intermediate computer skills required in MSOffice are required
  • Communication skills
  • Very good analytical skills, attention to detail and teamwork skills
