Our communities are among the best places to live in Western Canada.Our Vision: For every person to feel at home.This is truly supported by our credo. “Let us welcome you home.” All of us here feel it is an honour to work with our residents and we advocate a resident-centered approach where the Resident, is the focus of all our endeavors.As the Night Shift Multi Skilled Worker, you are responsible for the building and resident safety in the night.Hours between 11pm and 7 am daily, Sunday through ThursdayResponsibilities:

  • Ensure residents are provided with a secure living environment, patrol the building and investigate building access violations, report accordingly
  • Follow safety rules and procedures
  • Submit written reports of hazards, incidents, near misses and workplace injuries to the manager
  • Phone reception and night time resident contact person
  • Light housekeeping and a variety of support duties as assigned
  • Follow Infection Control Practices
· Other duties as assigned to support operational requirementsQualifications and Experience· Experience in an aging adults setting is an asset· Completion of Highschool Diploma is an asset· Completion of CPR and First Aid is an asset
  • Superior organizational skills
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors and operational partners· Superior oral and written communication skills, fluently in English· Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and problem solveConditions of Employment· Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds· Strong attention to detail· Clear Police Information Check· Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
  • COVID-19 vaccination proof. This requirement may be waived if you have received an exemption through the provincial government.
