As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and performance of heavy mobile logging equipment, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently in challenging forestry environments. Check heavy equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment for detect faults and malfunctions Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required as well as log the issues Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools as per the requirements Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers #39; specifications Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipmentSpecialized forestry Equipment such as forwarder, buncher, tower yarder and wheeled harvesterRequirementsAbility to run the machines is a requirement to understand if it works properly.
