Full Job DescriptionWe are a well-established public accounting firm dealing with small to medium sized businesses. We have built our client base on respect and long-lasting relationships. The firm is seeking a professional, self motivated Accounting Technician to join our team.The PositionYour primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Examine and analyze client accounting and financial records to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting standardsPreparation of corporate tax returnsBookkeeping using client supplied recordsAiding clients on bookkeeping and/or software issuesGST reconciliation, preparation, and filingPayroll preparation and related filingsPhone calls and e-mails to and from clientsLight administrative duties as neededThe CandidateWe are looking to invest in our relationships; both to our clients and team members. You would exhibit a strong desire to grow and learn in your accounting career within the public practice environment.
