Job Description

We have been a part of Cochrane, Albertas coffee conversation for over 20 years. We are the only artisan boutique roaster in our community, providing freshly roasted beans to our residents here and abroad. We pride ourselves on serving amazing coffee and delicious homemade baked goods.We are searching for motivated and engaging, customer service oriented, courteous individuals who are passionate about coffee/tea preparation. To succeed as a barista, you must be committed to providing customers with exceptional service and an excellent cup of coffee.   • Preparing espresso based coffees, teas, smoothies and food that meet quality standards
  • Welcome customers by determining their coffee/tea interests and needs
  • Properly handle and maintain all equipment
  • Respond to orders, questions, and concerns in a polite and efficient manner
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the shop at all times
  • Taking orders and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment
  • Opening and closing the shop
  • Handling cash and credit card payments accurately
Qualifications
  • Retail, hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong ability to multi task
  • Able to learn quickly and efficiently
  • “Go above and beyond” attitude
  • Ability to problem solve quickly
  • Strong customer and communication skills
  • Able to listen
  • Punctual
  • Must have Alberta Pro Serve
