We dont believe in segregating our line cooks to a single station; its important that everyone learns every part of our back of house operations so that we can support each other and ensure that when the opportunity comes knocking for growth, youre already set up to grow!Safety and cleanliness are cornerstones to our food program, and we expect each of our team members to hold them both in high regard and take good care of themselves, their fellow Brew Crew, our guests, and our house.Lets talk about the Prep Lead position!What will be your responsibilities as the Prep LeadOversee all preparation and management of our ingredients for in-house recipesExecute high levels of prep while eliminating labor and food wasteLead and coach your team on prep charts, shelf life and proper food safe practicesGain experience in the business side of cooking – time management, inventory, etc.Work with your leadership team (Regional Chef, Kitchen Manager, and General Manager) to continue personal development and growth of the back of house teamRequirementsA passion for cooking2+ years of experience in a similar roleWillingness to learn and expand your knowledgeDedication to learning a large menu with many in-house made itemsAbility to communicate effectivelyA strong understanding of health and safety regulations, and a commitment to keep your area maintainedCompany InformationWelcome to The Canadian Brewhouse (https://youtu.be/fyKRJzJWiu4), Canadas fastest-growing independent restaurant group!
