Reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing you will provide support to the sales team with the day-to-day operational and administrative needs by analyzing inventory and assisting with coordinating orders in a timely and accurate manner. As the successful candidate you would possess a strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrating an ability to learn new processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities, you are flexible and work calmly under pressure to ensure the department runs efficiently.Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the sales department in conducting sales activities, planning for sales strategies and inventory management.
  • Shipment coordination including daily planning, generation of paperwork, booking trucks and follow-up
  • Be responsive to day-to-day issues, take proactive role in improvement initiatives and be a high-performing team player
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, and Shipping departments to ensure scheduling within the required timeframe
  • Track incoming/outgoing shipments and deliveries communicating delays, etc. to appropriate stake holders
  • Manage internal and external controls related to packaging inventory
  • Back up the Produce Sales Coordinator including daily order entry and billing

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced plant environment with minimal or no supervision
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Results focused with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and determine priorities and adjust as circumstances change
  • Resourceful with an eye for continuous improvement opportunities and the ability to recommend and implement positive change
  • Forklift operation experience is an asset
