Job Description

Front Desk.Description

  • Answers internal or external phone calls in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Responsible for check in and out of guests
  • Adheres to all hotel policies regarding security, safety procedures, walk-in check-in, and guest confidentiality.
  • Knows and understands the products and services offered by the Hotel.
  • Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment
  • Ensuring inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction
  • Knowledgeable of hotel promotions.
  • Helps guests with providing information about the hotel and the local area/city.
  • Maintains the appropriate personal appearance and hygiene when on duty, including the correct name tag and any approved company badges.
  • Controlling key sign in/out procedures for certain hotel departments
  • Answering guest inquiries regarding rates, special packages, and general information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Performing general office duties
Requirements
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Previous Choice experience an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Answer and manage telephone calls, emails and web requests.
  • Assign rooms, Register guests, Explain hotel logistics and our services.
  • Inform clients and travel agents on availability, rates, specials, type of services.
  • Take care of complaints and escalate if needed.
  • Keep track of arrivals, departures, in-house, daily activities and follow up accordingly.
  • Follow up with housekeeping, concierge and maintenance when needed.
