The successful candidate will safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic in an assigned area on an assigned shift.What you #39;ll do:

• Reporting to the maintenance supervisor you will work as part of a team and be responsible for servicing the plant equipment and or underground mining equipment.
• Work safely in an industrial environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place.
• Inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair, fabricate, modify, and install plant equipment and or mining related equipment.
• Plan, layout and use trade skills for assigned work.
• Be able to work in the field, shop or underground.
• Proficient in laser alignment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate and report any deficiencies or corrections noticed during routine maintenance or inspections either verbally or in writing.
• Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training.
• Play a critical role not only ensuring your own safety, but also the safety of others.
• The position will require working on surface or underground as assigned.
• You may also be required to work a shift rotation requiring weekend work.

What you #39;ll need:

• The successful applicant must hold an Interprovincial Journeyperson Red Seal certificate. Previous experience in a Mining or an Industrial Environment is an asset, (2-3 years).
• Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic #39;s pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
