Job Description

The integrity and resourcefulness of our people are the foundation of that commitment.Job Title: Facility Logistics AdministratorLocation: G3 ColonsayThe Facility Logistics Administrator is responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics at the terminal, general administrative support and customer service, and assistance to the management team of G3.Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:

  • Greets customers/visitors and answers their questions promptly and professionally
  • Contacts customers to organize, monitor and authorize all inbound and outbound logistics at the facility to meet shipping specifications
  • Communicates and coordinates with Farm Business Representatives and Operations staff to effectively manage the customers contract requirements and delivery periods to ensure customer service
  • Manage/mitigate and shipping or receiving issues
  • Tracks and manages all deliveries leveraging the Sample Manager program
  • Communicate any opportunities or concerns to Rail Logistics team
  • Log all conversations with producers into CRM Dynamics
  • Acts as a secondary administrative support to facility administration assistant, maintains office files, coordinates incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages, and manages office supplies
  • Prepares letters, memos, and reports
Following duties will be specific to the various sites:
  • Provides backup to administration assistant to processes customer grain settlements accurately and promptly and in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensures customer contracts are not being over- or under-filled & contract delivery periods are being achieved; notifies Farm Business Representatives of any customer contract issues
  • Complies with requirements of G3’s Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQMS)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Office Assistant Certificate or related education is an asset
  • Minimum 1 year of office experience required
  • Experience in Agriculture or related industry is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other information management tools
