POSITION TITLE: Custodian - Permanent - 20 hours weekCOMPETITION #: 2223-25981-01SSCOMPETITION END DATE: October 03, 2022 12:00 PMLOCATION(S): Villanova Junior High · 2698 Topsail Rd · Conception Bay South · A1W 4B1JOB TEXT:Custodial WorkerA Custodial Worker is responsible for providing daily janitorial duties through an established schedule to ensure that the schools are maintained at the highest possible level of cleanliness. This position will be responsible for snow clearing and ice control. Other related duties as assigned.Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Recent experience in a commercial cleaning environment
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials and equipment
  • Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS)
  • Physical abilities consistent with requirements of the job
  • The ability to work as a team player and independently
  • Reliable transportation
