Job Description

Job Position: Administrative Assistant (Full Time Position)We are Real Estate Developers, Design Builders and General Contractors of office, commercial and industrial properties.Head Office is located in Vaughan.Position Summary:Gottardo Construction is seeking an Administrative Assistant, preferably with construction background.The Administrative Assistant would be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative duties and support to our Senior Team of executives. This position performs a wide variety of administration service, all of which contributes to the efficient and professional operation of the departments. The Administrative Assistant is expected to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish administrative tasks; answering phones and inquiries, making calls to trades, typing Purchase Orders, filing, attending meetings when required, and basic office procedures:

  • Understanding business and expectations of office functions and duties
  • Proficiency in word processing with strong keyboarding, formatting, grammar skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in email and database applications using Microsoft Office and outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Self motivated, ability to work under pressure and handle change positively
