Job Description

LTS Protective Services is seeking a dedicated Mobile Security Guard to join our team. As a Mobile Security Guard, you will be responsible for responding effectively to alarm calls and client requests, patrolling scheduled sites (including both vehicle and foot patrols), and conducting site and officer inspections. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and security of our client #39;s premises.Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and client calls.
• Conduct routine patrols of scheduled sites, both by vehicle and on foot.
• Complete thorough site and officer inspections.
• Maintain communication with the operations team to provide timely updates on any incidents or concerns.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License. (2 years)
• Must meet insurance requirements -proof of prior insurance coverage on a vehicle. (25+ years of age as of January 2024).
• Must provide a current driver’s abstract.
• Ability to be approved by our insurance provider.
• Must be fully vaccinated (Covid-19 policy in effect).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related security position.
• Post-secondary diploma or certification in a related field (e.g., law enforcement) is preferred.
• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Exceptional time management and task prioritization abilities.
• High level of personal integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations.
• Confident and decisive in making judgments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Mandatory Training:As per our company contract terms, it is your responsibility to ensure that your training is renewed yearly to remain in compliance with our policies and obligations. The following training courses are mandatory for all employees:

• Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
• Smart Serve
• First Aid/CPR
• Resistance Management System Certification** (Handcuffamp; Baton); Stay Safe (LTS approved training instructors)
